Spotlight on Nature Greeting Cards

TIP: The stamp set only includes a side view of the butterfly—so how did I create the whole butterfly on this card? I used a Silicone Craft Sheet. Just ink your stamp and stamp onto the craft sheet. Then while the ink is still wet, carefully press your paper onto the stamped image on the craft sheet—the ink will transfer in reverse. Then stamp the original image directly onto the paper to create the other side. Voilà, a fluttering butterfly. You can use this same technique to create mirror images.

TIP: Layer the stamped and colored floral images and greenery between die-cut shapes to create beautiful depth and dimension. This design by Artisan Kim Fee would have looked lovely without the little bird from the Country Birdhouse Stamp Set—but doesn’t he add just the right pop of charm and whimsy to tie it all together?!
