I had such a fun time playing with Sweeter With You! The cards came together quickly, and I loved how the cheerful designs practically made themselves. Sweeter With You Alternative Card Designs

I couldn’t stop at just the original designs! After making one of each card from the kit, I stretched the supplies a little further to create a few alternative designs that add a fresh twist to this berry-sweet kit. Below, you’ll find quick tutorials for each card—simple steps to help you recreate them at home.

For this fresh take, I started with a white card base and layered it with the gray gingham and a panel of Smoky Slate cardstock. Next, I embossed a piece of white cardstock using the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder and fussy-cut along the edge to create a lovely textured design feature. I stamped and fussy-cut two strawberries with the Sweeter With You stamp set, then popped them up with dimensionals and added the “Hello” sentiment. To finish, I sprinkled on a few Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems for just the right touch of sparkle.

For this bright and cheerful design, I layered the peach-and-pink gingham card base with a Pool Party mat. Then I added three die-cut panels in playful patterns—stripes and polka dots—for a patchwork feel. The sentiment circle stamped with “Life is sweeter with you,” takes center stage, accented with layered strawberries and sweet little blossoms from the kit. To finish, I tucked in the “Love You Lots” banner for an extra heartfelt touch. This card was inspired by Artisan Design Team Member Bree Renwick, whose creative use of layers and color always brings such a fun twist.

For this bold and fresh take, I combined two striking patterns—a black-and-white gingham and a Garden Green with hand-drawn stripes—layered side by side and separated with a thin strip of Real Red cardstock for definition. Down the center, I arranged a cascade of strawberries and blossoms from the kit, giving the design a sweet garden feel. The large “Hello, Friend” sentiment is popped up on dimensionals to stand out, and I finished with a Holographic Resin Dots for playful shimmer.

For this sweet and simple design, I started with the strawberry slush polka-dot card base layered over a white card base. I stamped the sentiment “Life is Sweeter With You” directly onto a scalloped white rectangle panel, then layered in a stem of strawberries and blossoms for a fresh garden look. To finish, I added two Tiny Bee Trinkets for a playful, summery detail that really makes the design buzz.

Beyond the Cards: Sweet Scrapbook Pages & Treats

In addition to the cards, I used the kit materials to create an adorable scrapbook page—perfect for documenting a day at the strawberry patch—and some yummy treat bags, just the right size for red Jolly Ranchers. I even found a way to use the kit packaging, so nothing went to waste!

For this 12″ x 12″ layout, I used strips of the strawberry and pink polka-dot patterned papers from the kit to frame the left side of the page. Two photo mats in Garden Green cardstock anchor the design and provide plenty of space for favorite snapshots—perfect for a day at the strawberry patch or summer picnic. To decorate, I layered clusters of strawberries and blossoms and that adorable strawberry basket around the photo mats, including a large pink berry at the bottom for balance. The sentiment “Life is Sweeter with You” is stamped on a striped panel, then accented with the “You’re the Best” banner for a cheerful finishing touch.

These little treat bags came together so quickly and make the cutest favors! I filled small clear bags with red Jolly Ranchers and created toppers using white cardstock layered with pieces from the kit’s preprinted envelopes. I stamped and fussy-cut strawberries in Real Red and Strawberry Slush ink, then added the sentiment “Life is Sweeter With You” on the scalloped die-cut labels from the kit—cutting each label into three pieces so they fit perfectly across the toppers. For the finishing touch, I stamped “You’re the Best” on a strip of Pool Party cardstock and layered it underneath. Each topper is accented with blossoms, stamped on Pool Party cardstock, for a fresh, berry-sweet finish. I stapled the toppers onto the bags to hold everything in place—fast, easy, and adorable!

I didn’t even let the kit packaging go to waste! I dressed up the front of the box with a small note card, layered with the “Hello, Friend” sentiment and a couple of berries, and now it’s ready to gift. Whether you fill it with finished cards, extra crafting goodies, or a sweet treat, it’s the perfect way to turn your crafting into a thoughtful surprise.
