Hey y’all! Welcome to the June Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop! This month, we’re celebrating all things summer, a season filled with sunshine, blooming gardens, family gatherings, vacations, and so many special occasions worth celebrating. From weddings and graduations to birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, family reunions, and backyard cookouts, summer seems to keep our calendars full and our hearts even fuller.
For today’s project, I’m featuring the Valley in Bloom Suite Collection, a beautiful collection that feels right at home among all those summer celebrations. Inspired by the delicate charm of lilies of the valley, this suite combines elegant florals, fresh greenery, beautiful textures, and subtle shimmer to create projects that can be dressed up or down for almost any occasion.
The suite includes the Lily of the Valley Stamp Set, coordinating Lily of the Valley Dies, the gorgeous Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder, the incredible Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper, Luxe White Specialty Designer Series Paper, and coordinating Shimmering Dots. Everything is designed to work together seamlessly, making it easy to create polished projects without a lot of guesswork. That’s the kind of collection I reach for again and again.
Whether you’re creating cards or documenting summer memories in a scrapbook, the Valley in Bloom Suite Collection offers endless creative possibilities. Truth be told, I could have happily spent another week or more creating with this suite! I have so many more ideas. If you love these beautiful florals as much as I do, be sure to visit the Christie Crafts Card Gallery and the Christie Crafts Scrapbook Gallery to see additional Valley in Bloom projects and inspiration. Now, let’s take a closer look at today’s projects!
Valley in Bloom Card Ideas & Tutorials
The Valley in Bloom Suite Collection works beautifully no matter your crafting style. Whether you prefer quick and simple cards, clean and classic designs, or projects with all the layers, texture, and embellishments, this suite can do it all. To show just how versatile it is, I’ve created three cards with three very different approaches. Let’s start simple and work our way up to all the bells and whistles!
Card #1: Let the Designer Series Paper Shine

Sometimes the most beautiful cards come from simply letting the paper take center stage. For this card, I started with a Basic White card base and layered a piece of the soft Crumb Cake plaid from the Valley in Bloom DSP. For the focal point, I selected one of the stunning floral images from the DSP and matted it with a Blackberry Bliss scalloped rectangle. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the floral panel using Blackberry Bliss ink, and I finished the card with a few embellishments. This quick and easy design comes together in just minutes, proving that you don’t need lots of layers or techniques to create an elegant handmade card when you’re working with beautiful paper.
Card #2: Stepping It Up with Stamps & Layers

For this card, I stepped things up a bit with stamping, die cutting, and a few extra layers while still keeping the design clean and approachable. I started with a floral DSP panel on a Basic White card base, added a 2″ strip of coordinating Crumb Cake plaid DSP, and layered another piece of the floral DSP on a Crumb Cake scalloped rectangle. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the DSP, while the additional Lily of the Valley image was stamped in Crumb Cake ink, lightly colored with Light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends, die cut, and layered on top. One of my favorite details is the tiny floral accent tucked into the upper right corner—it helps balance the design and ties the stamped and printed elements together. A few Shimmering Dots finish the card with just the right amount of sparkle.
Card #3: All the Bells & Whistles

This card showcases everything I love about the Valley in Bloom Suite Collection! Inspired by Stampin’ Up! Artisan Berdien Peters, I started with a patterned DSP background layered onto a Basic Beige mat and a Basic White card base. For the focal point, I created a lush floral arrangement using Lily of the Valley die cuts cut from Basic White cardstock and some colored with Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends. I layered them with die-cut leaves and floral stickers from the Valley in Bloom DSP & Sticker Sheet, then arranged everything over the intricate lattice die cuts from the suite. The combination of stickers, die cuts, and patterned paper creates lots of depth and dimension while still feeling cohesive thanks to the coordinating colors and designs. The birthday sentiment was layered over a Darling Duckling cardstock die-cut “wishing” from the Delightful Wishes Dies for an elegant finishing touch, while a few Shimmering Dots add just the right amount of sparkle. This card is perfect for those times when you want to pull out all the coordinating products and create something truly special.

Valley in Bloom Scrapbook Inspiration

The Valley in Bloom Suite Collection pairs beautifully with the coordinating Valley in Bloom DSP & Sticker Sheet, making it easy to create scrapbook layouts filled with color, texture, and meaningful details. For these pages, I combined the patterned papers, floral stickers, die cuts, and sentiment stickers to create layouts celebrating family, friendship, and togetherness. I love how the garden-inspired florals and fresh color palette add visual interest while still leaving plenty of room for photos to tell the story. Whether you’re documenting a summer vacation, family gathering, special celebration, or everyday memories, these coordinated products make memory keeping both beautiful and effortless.
