Hey y’all! Welcome! This week I’m sharing my projects for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop, and our theme is “Celebrate Spring.” As fate would have it, that’s also the name of the February Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin’ Up! that has been taking over my craft table this week. With sweet Easter bunnies, cheerful florals, and the prettiest springtime pastels, this kit perfectly reflects everything I love about the season and makes it so easy to create bright, happy projects to share.
The card designs included in the Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin kit are just as sweet as can be. I love how everything coordinates right out of the box, so you can sit down and create beautiful handmade cards without a lot of fuss. Whether you’re sending Easter greetings or just a little springtime happy mail to brighten someone’s day, these cheerful cards are sure to make someone smile.

Although the subscription period has passed for this kit, the Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin Refill is a wonderful way to keep the creativity going. The refill includes all the consumables from the original kit, everything you need to make nine cards (three each of three designs), complete with pastel card bases, envelopes, precut pieces, sequins, adhesives and twine. It does not include the original stamp set, but it’s perfect for mixing and matching with sentiments you already have in your stash. The refill kit is available only to subscribers and only while supplies last, so be sure to subscribe and grab yours while you can.
One of the things I love most about Paper Pumpkin is how it makes crafting simple and fun. Each monthly kit is a complete creative experience with coordinated pieces, thoughtful designs, and plenty of inspiration built right in. It’s truly a one-stop box that lets you sit down, relax, and enjoy creating. If you love this kit as much as I do, do yourself a favor and subscribe to Paper Pumpkin today. The last day to sign up and receive the March kit is today, March 10. The March kit, Flutter Garden, looks like another beautiful one, so be sure to sign up today so you don’t miss it.

Head over to the Christie Crafts YouTube channel to see the Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin kit in action. In this video, I’ll walk you through the kit designs and share a few tips for putting the cards together. You’ll see just how easy it is to create these sweet spring cards and how the adorable bunnies and florals come together to make the cutest handmade designs. Stretching the Kit: Celebrate Spring Card Variations
One of my favorite things to do after making one of each of the kit’s original card designs is to use the remaining pieces to create my own variations. Sometimes I come up with something new, and other times I CASE a design I’ve seen from another talented card maker. This kit offers even more inspiration because it coordinates beautifully with the Easter Joy Suite Collection. Below are a few of the additional projects I created using this kit.

Celebrate Spring Memories
Of course, I couldn’t resist using a few of the kit elements on a scrapbook layout too. The florals and soft colors are perfect for capturing spring memories, especially photos of Easter celebrations, family gatherings, or little ones enjoying the season. I always love stretching my Paper Pumpkin supplies beyond the cards, and this kit has so many charming pieces that it’s easy to add them to scrapbook layouts for a soft, layered look. For the background, I used cardstock from the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper, the February Stampin’ Up! Product of the Month, which I believe is still available while supplies last.

Thanks so much for stopping by Christie Crafts today. Be sure to continue along the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop and visit the other incredibly talented crafters who are sharing their “Celebrate Spring” inspiration. There’s always so much creativity to discover, and I know you’ll leave with plenty of ideas to try at your own craft table.
