Hey y’all! This week I’m sharing my projects for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop, and our theme is “For the Girls/Ladies.” What better way to celebrate than with a little love for Mother’s Day? These cards honor the special women in our lives—mothers, grandmothers, friends, and all those who nurture and care so beautifully.

I’m also giving you a sneak peek of some brand-new goodies, and oh my goodness…you are going to fall in love! I’m showcasing the gorgeous Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper. With its soft, fresh color palette, each 12″ x 12″ sheet features rich florals on one side and subtle neutrals on the other. And the real showstopper? Select sheets include a dreamy, flocked texture that adds a soft, touchable dimension. It’s one of those papers you have to see (and feel!) to fully appreciate. This DSP and many more fabulous new creative products will be available May 5th.

These quick and easy Mother’s Day cards featuring the Velvet Meadow DSP, come together in no time! The three card fronts below were created using the bottom half of a single sheet of DSP. You could get six card fronts from a single 12″ x 12″ sheet.

Start with a 4.5″ x 6″ white card base. Add a 4.25″ x 5.75″ mat in Peaceful Pine (available May 5th), Berry Burst, Cloud Cover or another coordinating cardstock. Then layer your DSP piece, cut to 5.5″ x 4″, right on top.

To finish, simply stamp your sentiment above the florals. I used Peaceful Pine ink (available May 5th). Add a few Dreamy Flowers embellishments (available May 5th) for a soft, pretty touch. That’s it—simple, beautiful, and perfect for celebrating Mother’s Day or any occasion!

I couldn’t stop with just one project. I also put together a few more cards and even a scrapbook page using the Velvet Meadow DSP and stamps and dies from my stash. This paper really does all the work for you! The combination of soft florals, gentle patterns, and that touchable texture makes it so easy to create projects that feel polished and pretty without a lot of extra effort. It’s one of those collections that inspires you the moment you start playing with it!
