Hey y’all! I’m Christie—thanks a bunch for stopping by! Let me tell you a little about myself before Jack and Jasper (my Australian Shepherds and full-time mischief-makers) start demanding attention again.
I live in beautiful middle Tennessee with my sweet husband Joey, who’s somehow survived decades of my craft supply hoarding. We’ve got four grandkids under the age of eight, which means life is loud, sticky, and absolutely wonderful. Who needs a gym when you’re chasing ball players and ballerinas, right?
Once upon a time, I earned my B.S. in Graphic Communication from Middle Tennessee State University. I spent over a decade as a creative director at a country music magazine—think boots, ballads, and a whole lot of rhinestones. About 10 years ago, I took a wild turn and landed in insurance administration. Now I work with a fantastic team at Tennessee Farm Bureau, keeping things running smoothly and laughing whenever possible.
My creative spark started early, sitting at the kitchen table with my grandmother, elbow-deep in magazine clippings. She patiently taught me everything from paper crafting to cross stitch, crochet, and even ceramics (my poor ceramic cat never did recover from that glaze incident). Those crafty roots are still with me, and I love sharing that joy with others.
