Last December I had a request for a beach-themed Christmas card. If only I had Stampin’ Up!’s Beach Day stamps and dies then!
The Beach Day photopolymer stamps mix and match different beach-inspired images with sentiments including Happy Birthday, Enjoy Today, Sending Sunshine, and Wishing You a Beautiful Day. The dies quickly and easily cut out beach umbrellas, surfboards, a lookout tower, sandcastle, water, and more. Pair the pieces to create a variety of playful beach-day scenes for your all card making and scrapbooking projects.
Below are step-by-step instructions for creating a cheerful and simple card that will bring sunshine to any lucky recipient! And, come back next week for more Beach Day projects.

Supplies needed:
Beach Day stamps
Beach Day dies
White cardstock
Green cardstock
Brown cardstock
Full of Life designer series paper or other ombre colored paper
Optional Supplies:
Embossing folder
Rectangle die
Dimensional adhesive
Embellishments
- Cut white card stock 9″ x 6″ and fold in half for an A6 size card (4.5″ x 6″)
- Optional – add a 4.375″ x 5.875″ white embossed panel to front of card. The retired Twisted Rope embossing folder is used in the example, but any embossing folder would work such as So Swirly Embossing folder.

- Cut a smaller panel approximately 4″ x 5″ from Full of Life designer series paper or any ombre colored paper and adhere to the front of the card. The example rectangle is cut with retired Color and Contour die, but any rectangular die will work. The Everyday Details dies would be perfect or simply use a straight edge rectangle.
- Using the Beach Day dies cut palm tree tops from green cardstock and palm trunks from brown cardstock. Example uses Pretty Peacock, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake.

- Optional – add Foam Adhesive Strips to the palm tops and trunks to add dimension and adhere over the color panel.

- Stamp a “summer” sentiment on brown or white cardstock. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere over the palm trees.

- Optional – add some sparkle with embellishments. Example uses Tinsel Gem Four-Pack and 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems.
