Our March Blog Hop theme is “Celebrate Spring,” and y’all, spring has arrived in Tennessee! Buttercups are blooming, birds and squirrels are busy, and afternoons practically beg for a glass of sweet tea on the porch. What better way to celebrate than by creating and sending bright, cheerful handmade cards?
The Lovely Garden Suite Collection from Stampin’ Up! is perfect for adding floral beauty to your projects. As one of the new Online Exclusive items, this suite offers stunning patterned paper in the Lovely Garden DSP, delicate die-cut greenery, and intricate floral stamps—everything you need to create gorgeous designs.
Hydrangeas are my favorite flower, and they star in the Thankful Garden Bundle. Now I get to enjoy them in my paper crafting, too—no weeding required!
The Thankful Garden Decorative Masks (which are included in the bundle) steal the show. They let you create hydrangeas and pansies with color blending in endless combinations, and the transformation is pure magic! (Seriously, you’ll want to show everyone your masterpiece.) Check out the video below to see them in action.

No project is complete without the finishing touches! The Fresh Freesia Faux Velvet Ribbon adds elegance, while Starburst Sequins bring the perfect pop of sparkle.
Whether you’re crafting for springtime showers, Mother’s Day, or just because, the Lovely Garden Suite Collection has you covered. Let’s bring those springtime vibes to life—one handmade creation at a time!
Lovely Garden Card Projects

TIP: Use your edge dies to create asymmetrical lines and layer patterned paper to create depth.

TIP: Make the most of your paper stash by using dies to cut focal images from patterned DSP.

TIP: Use a blender brush to add color behind your images or sentiment for extra depth.

TIP: Stamp your focal image in a light coordinating ink, then layer the main image on top for extra depth and detail.

TIP: Experiment with color combinations—stepping out of your comfort zone is where the magic happens!

TIP: Sometimes, let the paper take center stage.
