Let’s talk about the cutest little duo you didn’t know you needed: the Long Time No See photopolymer stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Whether you’re smitten with a dachshund in a stretched-out sweater or charmed by a scarf-wearing llama, this set brings all the quirky, feel-good vibes your craft table could ask for.
The dachshund is long on personality (pun totally intended), and you can stamp his body across multiple panels to stretch the fun. Meanwhile, the llama is all bundled up and ready to deliver festive cheer—or maybe just a warm hug in card form. These playful critters are perfect for holiday cards, birthdays, thank-you notes, or any time you want to brighten someone’s day.
The set features both animals, a mix of punny sentiments, and greetings for birthdays and the holidays. The stamps are easy to line up and make it a breeze to create layered scenes or simple, standout cards. The Long Time No See stamp set is an affordable way to add a whole lot of cute to your collection. Whether you’re team llama, team lapdog, or just here for the puns, this set is one you’ll reach for again and again.
Long Time No See Cards

TUTORIAL: Llama Birthday Card
This cheerful birthday card features a lineup of festive llamas, all decked out in colorful scarves—and it’s easier to make than it looks! I started with a white card base and layered it with a Lost Lagoon plaid pattern from my stash to create a cozy background. Next, I stamped four llamas from the Long Time No See stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, using the extender stamp on one of them for a little extra length and whimsy.
Each llama’s scarf is colored with Stampin’ Blends in a playful mix of shades: Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Old Olive, Strawberry Slush, Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, and Gray Granite. After fussy cutting each one, I arranged them in a row at varying heights, popping them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give the card movement and personality.
The “Happy Birthday” sentiment—also from the set—is stamped in Pretty Peacock for a bold pop of contrast. To finish it off, I scattered a few adhesive-backed gems across the background for just the right touch of sparkle. The result? A birthday card that’s bursting with color, charm, and full-on llama-tude!

TUTORIAL: Dachshund Z-Fold Card
This playful Z-fold card is full of charm—and dachshund! I started with a white card base and scored the front panel in half to create a Z-fold, allowing the pup’s stretched-out sweater to travel seamlessly across the card when opened. I stamped the front, middle, and back sections of the dachshund image from the Long Time No See stamp set using black ink, carefully lining up each segment to create one continuous, extra-long pup.
For the sweater, I used Stampin’ Blends in coordinating shades of Secret Sea, Coastal Cabana, and Gray Granite to give it a modern, gender-neutral vibe. The dachshund’s body and face were shaded in natural browns to add warmth and contrast. I stamped the “Long Time No See” sentiment, trimmed it out, and popped it up with Dimensionals on the front panel.
To finish it off, I added a few Secret Sea embellishments from the 2025–2027 In Color Flat Pearls for a subtle sparkle. This card is simple to assemble but packed with personality—and guaranteed to get a smile when they unfold that extra-long pup in all his sweatered glory!

TUTORIAL: Llama and Dashhound Holiday Cards
These festive Christmas cards are bursting with personality—whether you’re team llama or team dachshund! Both designs use the Long Time No See stamp set and follow the same simple (and fun!) layout. I started with a white card base layered with a red and green candy cane–striped background to set a playful, holiday tone. Each focal panel is matted with Real Red cardstock to help it pop against the stripes.
I stamped the llama and dachshund images in Black StazOn and used a water painter to color them with Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist, and Crumb Cake inks. To give them a festive flair, I added a little holly sprig around their necks—just a fussy-cut detail that really pulls the look together. The “Merry Christmas” sentiment is stamped in Real Red, fussy cut, and popped up with Dimensionals.
To finish them off, I sprinkled on a few Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermint embellishments for a playful pop of whimsy. Whether you choose the llama or the lapdog, this layout is quick, easy, and full of handmade holiday charm!
Thanks for stopping by!
The Long Time No See stamp set is full of charm, whimsy, and just the right amount of sass—and I’ve had so much fun exploring creative ways to use it! This set makes it easy to send smiles year-round. And when the holidays roll around? These critters clean up well! A quick change of color palette and a sprinkle of holiday embellishments turn them into festive showstoppers ready for Christmas mailboxes.
