Hey y’all! I’m excited to share the Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumkin kit from Stampin’ Up!. It combines two of my favorite things—rustic charm and whimsical flowers—plus the cutest little antique typewriter. There’s just something about those hand-painted blooms paired with cozy farmhouse style that makes every card feel like a heartfelt gift. Whether you’re sending a thank-you or just a quick hello, these designs are guaranteed to brighten someone’s day!
Each kit makes nine cards—three each of three different designs—and comes with printed envelopes, precut paper pieces, linen thread, and adhesive. I made one of each of the kit designs following the instructions and then had fun using the materials to create a handful of alternative projects. The antique typewriter die cut quickly became my favorite—you’ll see it pop up in several of my alternatives. It’s such a charming little touch that adds personality and makes these projects extra special.

Farmhouse Florals Alternative Projects

Tutorial: This card features the charming antique typewriter die cut from the Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumkin kit paired with a Lost Lagoon card base. I added subtle texture with a stitched circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies and framed the typewriter with florals from the kit, greenery from the Charming Day Dies, and tiny blossoms from the Impressions Abloom Dies. A linen thread bow and a few sparkly Purple Fine Shimmer Gems finish the look, making this a sweet and whimsical card perfect for sharing a heartfelt message. Inspiration: Elizabeth Price

Tutorial: This card begins with a split base of Floral Charm Designer Series Paper and Fresh Freesia cardstock, embossed with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder for soft texture and detail with a band of Pretty Peacock cardstock in the middle. A patterned vellum circle, cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies, adds a subtle layer without hiding the patterns beneath. The antique typewriter die cut takes center stage, accented with a cheerful bouquet of florals fussy-cut from the kit card base. For the sentiment, I stamped “With Love” from the Extraordinary Flora Stamp Set, and a few scattered embellishments provide the perfect finishing touch of shine.

Tutorial: This card features a soft, elegant look with a monotone white embossed background, creating a subtle yet sophisticated base. I layered on a panel cut with my favorite retired Scalloped Contours dies, which frames the focal point beautifully. The antique typewriter die cut is accented with bright florals from the kit, paired with a simple “Just a Note” sentiment tucked into the typewriter. At the bottom of the panel, I stamped the coordinating phrase, “Good friends are hard to find. I’m so glad we found each other.” To finish, I embellished the card with Riverside Iridescent Pearls, adding just the right amount of shine without distracting from the clean, layered design.

Tutorial: This card captures cozy farmhouse style with a panel of Floral Charm Designer Series Paper layered over a coordinating mat for a warm, rustic frame. The focal point is the charming window scene from the Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumkin kit, featuring vases and pitchers filled with vibrant blooms. I popped up the window panel with dimensionals for added depth and finished the design with the simple sentiment “For a Great Friend,” fussy-cut for a clean, polished look. The result is a cheerful floral card, perfect for sending a thoughtful note to someone special.

Tutorial: This card starts with a panel of Floral Charm Designer Series Paper matted on Mossy Meadow cardstock to create a bold floral frame. A layered label, cut with the Fright Night Dies, provides the perfect spot for the focal point. I stamped the teapot from the Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumkin kit onto a piece of Floral Charm DSP, fussy cut it, and then filled it with colorful blooms also trimmed from the Floral Charm DSP. The sentiment “For a Great Friend” tucks neatly inside the top of the label, while a few Brushed Brass Butterflies embellishments add a soft, finishing accent.

Tutorial: For this scrapbook layout, I started with a polka dot paper from my stash (this is why I hoard paper—the color matched the typewriter perfectly, and the polka dot pattern fit the Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumkin kit feel to a tee!). To add detail, I stamped the texture and small floral images from the kit at the corners of an irregularly trimmed piece of cream cardstock. Two photo mats, layered in the same dotted design as the frame, create perfect spots to showcase special memories. For embellishment, I added the antique typewriter and colorful blooms fussy-cut from the kit card bases, along with the stamped sentiment “Always Here for You,” making this layout ideal for capturing friendship or family moments.
