Hey y’all! It’s that time again, time for the monthly Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! This month’s theme is “Giving Thanks,” and as we head into this season of gratitude, I’m reminded of one of my favorite things to be thankful for in my craft room—Designer Series Paper. I’m so grateful for the beauty and versatility of Stampin’ Up!’s papers. They do all the work, no need for fancy, complicated layouts. When the paper shines, you can keep it simple, let it take center stage, and your cards come together beautifully.
This week, I’ve been creating with the gorgeous Gathering Together 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, and let me tell you—it’s autumn perfection! Bring your harvest-themed projects to life with this paper featuring everything from subtle fall plaids to delicate leaves and mushrooms, all with a hint of champagne foil. Whether you’re making cards, scrapbook pages, or pretty tags for fall events, this paper adds the perfect seasonal touch. The pack includes 12 sheets—two each of six double-sided designs—making it easy to mix, match, and create to your heart’s content.
What I love most is how effortlessly you can make something beautiful. Trim a piece of this paper, layer it over coordinating cardstock, add a simple sentiment, and—voilà!—you’ve got a stunning handmade card that feels warm and heartfelt. I made a few quick cards using this paper and couldn’t wait to share them with y’all! Each one came together in no time, but they still look polished and perfectly pulled together, proof that simple can be stunning!
While my cards focus on the Gathering Together Specialty DSP, if you love having all the bells and whistles, be sure to check out the full Gathering Together Suite Collection. This coordinated suite includes stamps and dies in the Gathering Moments Bundle, the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, the Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread Pack, and Cajun Craze & Gold Dots embellishments. It has everything you need to elevate your autumn crafting and capture the warmth of the season in every project.
