Hey y’all! In honor of National Scrapbooking Day (May 2, 2026) this past weekend, I’ve got something a little different to share today, my very first scrapbook workshop experience using the Currently Loving Scrapbooking Workshop Kit from Stampin’ Up!…and let me tell you, I am officially hooked!
Now, if you’ve been around Christie Crafts for a bit, you know I very often create scrapbook layouts using extra kit materials and pieces inspired by card designs, so this was a fun change of pace for me. This kit coordinates with the Lovely Arrangements Bundle and Lovely Blossoms DSP, and if you love soft florals and clean, simple layouts, this one is going to be right up your alley.
While scrapbooking was my first love in paper crafting, this was my first time working through one of the Stampin’ Up! scrapbooking workshops, and it was such a great experience. This workshop made the process feel so easy and honestly…so fun.
What I loved most is how everything is thoughtfully planned out for you. The kit creates three two-page 12″ x 12″ scrapbook spreads, and the step-by-step instructions make it completely stress-free. Whether you’re brand new to memory keeping or just short on time, this is one of those “open it up and start creating” experiences we all appreciate.
The color palette is soft and fresh (Cloud Cover, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Petal Pink, and Secret Sea) which gives your pages that light, airy feel without a lot of guesswork. Inside the kit, you’ll find Designer Series Paper, coordinating cardstock, precut images and stickers, photo placeholders, and clear, step-by-step instructions. There are a few basic tools you’ll want on hand, adhesive and a paper trimmer, but overall, it’s very beginner-friendly.
I have to say, finishing these layouts gave me such a sense of accomplishment. It’s a completely different kind of creative satisfaction compared to cards, telling a story, capturing memories, and seeing it all come together on a page. I am thrilled to have these workshops available and already plan to pick up more in the future.
