Hey y’all! I’ll admit…when I first saw the new artwork/decor kits from Stampin’ Up!, I thought they were beautiful, but I wasn’t immediately sure where or if they fit into the Christie Crafts aesthetic. Home décor projects aren’t usually my jam.

But those gorgeous blue luna moths in the Radiant Reminders Kit were absolutely singing to me, and suddenly I started thinking…what if I didn’t make decor at all? Instead, I used the kit to create scrapbook pages, and I love love love how they turned out.

This scrapbook layout came together so quickly because so much of the work was already done for me. I simply rearranged the kit elements to fit photos instead of framed artwork. You don’t have to stay in the original lane with these kits, the ease and convenience of the coordinated pieces encourage you to stretch your creative mind and create something outside the box.

One of my favorite things about Stampin’ Up! kits is that they already include beautifully coordinated elements, layered details, and thoughtfully designed pieces. That means you can skip a lot of the design work and jump right into creating. The soft greens, rich browns, botanical elements, the pre-printed “Good Things Take Time” and “Slow Down Stay in the Moment” plaques, and those beautiful moths made the perfect foundation for memory keeping.

The Radiant Reminders Kit is designed to create three decorative artwork/decor displays featuring layered botanical pieces, foil accents, and uplifting sentiments. And while the original designs are stunning, don’t overlook it if you’re a scrapbooker! There are so many possibilities for layouts, photo displays, journals, and even handmade cards.

Another artwork kit in the Stampin’ Up! Kit collection is the Every Little Thing Kit, which features magnolias, mountains, and the cutest little bird. I can imagine those pieces translating beautifully into scrapbook pages or cards too.

And can we talk about the Standing Clipboard Trio Kit? While these clipboards are intended to display the finished artwork pieces, I’ve found other uses for them as well. I absolutely love using them as displays for my handmade greeting cards and as photo props when styling projects for social media and blog photos. Such a fun way to get more use out of a product.

If you’ve ever looked at a kit and thought, but I don’t make that or that’s not me…consider this your reminder that kits don’t have rules. Use the pieces in ways that fit your style.
