Beginning July 1, 2026, Stampin’ Up! is rolling out a brand-new join experience designed to make becoming a demonstrator easier, faster, and more welcoming than ever before. The current join process has served Stampin’ Up! well for many years, but this update removes some common frustrations and creates a smoother path for new demonstrators to get started. The new process simplifies everything while still providing incredible value and all the perks demonstrators love.
Introducing the Welcome Box
One of the most exciting parts of the new experience is the surprise Welcome Box that every first-time demonstrator will receive beginning July 1.
Rather than arriving as just another order box, this special package is designed to make new demonstrators feel welcomed into the Stampin’ Up! family from day one. Inside the Welcome Box, new demonstrators will receive:
- A handwritten welcome letter from Sara
- Exclusive Stampin’ Up! swag including:
- Pen
- Pop-up pencil case
- Pop-up waste basket
- An exclusive card kit featuring:
- Kit-sized stamp set
- Full-size clear block
- Classic Stampin’ Spot
- Supplies to create eight beautiful “hello” cards
The idea is simple: create and share the cards with friends and family while introducing them to the joy of handmade cards and the Stampin’ Up! community.
How the New Join Process Works
Step 1: Join
New demonstrators simply:
- Choose a team leader
- Accept the required agreements
- Enter a few personal details
- Pay the $100 USD/$135 CAD join fee
- Click submit
That’s it!
Step 2: Shop
Once the application is approved, Stampin’ Up! will ship the Welcome Box and send the new demonstrator an email containing:
- Their Demonstrator ID
- A New Demonstrator Shopping Coupon Code
The New Demonstrator Shopping Credit
Instead of building a Starter Kit during enrollment, new demonstrators will receive a coupon code valued at:
- $125 USD in the United States
- $170 CAD in Canada
The coupon can be applied to any demonstrator order, giving new demonstrators the flexibility to choose exactly what they want after they join.
Even better, if the order exceeds the coupon value, the additional amount receives the demonstrator discount and counts toward quarterly sales minimums and rewards opportunities.
Additional New Demonstrator Perks
New demonstrators will also be able to add eight complimentary catalogs to any order, making it easier than ever to share products and inspiration with friends, family, and potential customers.
And don’t forget—new demonstrators still receive the popular 50% off Paper Pumpkin coupon that arrives shortly after joining.
Changes for Rejoining Demonstrators
Stampin’ Up! is also updating its rejoin policies beginning July 1.
- Demonstrators who drop must now wait 45 days before rejoining.
- After 45 days, they may rejoin under any team leader.
- Rejoining demonstrators will receive all standard joining benefits, including the shopping coupon code.
- The Welcome Box is reserved exclusively for first-time demonstrators.
Current Demonstrators: Your Chance to Get a Welcome Box
If you’re already a demonstrator and feeling a little curious about that Welcome Box, you’re in luck! Stampin’ Up! is offering current demonstrators a one-time opportunity to purchase a Welcome Box for themselves.
Ordering Period: July 15–31, 2026
Details:
- Limit one per demonstrator
- Noncommissionable
- $65 USD | $89 CAD
This will be the only opportunity for existing demonstrators to get one, so if you’re interested, be sure to mark your calendar.
My Thoughts
I think this new process is a wonderful improvement. It removes many of the barriers that can make joining feel overwhelming and gives new demonstrators more flexibility when selecting products. The Welcome Box also adds a special touch that helps create excitement right from the beginning.
