Every once in a while, a suite comes along that pulls you in, sparks your imagination, and casts a creative spell—you just can’t stop creating to see what you’ll dream up next.
The Moonlit Flora Collection is definitely one of those! From rich, dramatic botanicals to soft embossed backgrounds and delicate fern details, this collection can take on a completely different personality depending on how you use it.
This week, I’ve been creating with the Moonlit Flora Suite Collection, and the creative possibilities really do seem limitless. For this post, I wanted to take a closer look at the products that make this suite so special and share some of the different ways you can use them to inspire your own creativity. This collection has such a beautiful, almost magical garden-at-night feel. Ferns, night-blooming florals, delicate moths, and layers of greenery come together with a rich color palette of lush greens with pops of yellow, white and pink. Everything coordinates beautifully.
The collection includes:
- Moonlit Flora 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper – 12 sheets with 2 each of 6 double-sided designs
- Fern & Flora Stamp Set – 12 photopolymer stamps featuring beautiful botanical imagery and heartfelt sentiments
- Fern & Flora Dies – 14 dies filled with ferns and delicate botanical elements that are perfect for layering
- Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder – a large 6″ x 6-1/4″ embossing folder that creates gorgeous fern texture
- Dewdrops Embellishments – 180 adhesive-backed pieces in three coordinating colors
This suite has been available for a little while. So, if you have this collection on your wish list (or the projects below inspire you), I wouldn’t wait too long to grab it. And please note, individual products can also occasionally go out of stock. If something you’re looking for is currently unavailable, be sure to enter your email address on the Stampin’ Up! product page to be notified when it’s back in stock.
The Moonlit Flora DSP really is the star of this suite. It’s absolutely stunning! Several of my projects let the DSP take center stage with fairly simple layouts and embellishments. When the paper is this good, you really don’t have to do a lot to create something really special, like the cards below.

Now let’s add the stamps and dies! As beautiful as the DSP is on its own, the Fern & Flora Bundle opens up even more creative possibilities. The delicate fern dies are absolutely gorgeous for layering, and I love mixing them with the stamped foliage and those sweet little moths. You can tuck pieces behind one another, mix different shades of cardstock, and build as much—or as little—dimension as you like. This is where the suite really starts to come alive!

The two cards below come from the same blended piece of Basic White cardstock yet ended up looking completely different! I started by using a blending brush to add several shades of green across the cardstock. I trimmed off a portion and used the Fern & Flora Dies to cut the bright green ferns for the first card, keeping the rest of the design simple with a sweet moth accent and subtle stamped background texture.
For the second card, I took the remaining blended cardstock and embossed it with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder. Without allowing the cardstock to shift, I inked the embossing folder with Secret Sea ink and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine again. The dark ink settled into the design, creating that gorgeous dramatic contrast while allowing the blended greens to shine through. I loved the result so much that I let the embossed panel become the focal point of the card!

** Be sure you’re following Christie Crafts on social media and YouTube, because later this week, I’ll be sharing a short-form Reel showing this technique and how both cards come together. **
And then there’s my “all the bells and whistles” card! You can really see just how much the pieces of the Moonlit Flora Suite have to offer. I started with a Basic White background panel embossed with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder, then layered on an abundance of die-cut ferns and foliage using the Fern & Flora Bundle in soft and deep shades of green. That gorgeous oversized moth, fussy cut from the Moonlit Flora DSP becomes the star of the arrangement, while the warm Cajun Craze and Golden Glow botanical pieces add just enough contrast. A few Dewdrops Embellishments scattered around the foliage provide the finishing touch. With all those layers and texture against the crisp white background, this card feels soft, airy, and delicate.

I couldn’t resist seeing what would happen when I took the Moonlit Flora Suite into my scrapbooking, and I absolutely love how it translated on the page! Those larger DSP patterns have room to really shine, while the coordinating stamps and dies make it easy to carry the botanical details throughout the layout.
This suite lends itself so naturally to layering. I created this gorgeous cascading focal point by mixing stamped and die-cut ferns in different shades of green and white, Golden Glow fern accents, and those sweet little moths tucked throughout. I added a few Dewdrops Embellishments for just a touch of shine. The soft green background keeps all those layers from feeling too heavy, while the darker Moonlit Flora DSP adds beautiful contrast around the photo area.
I loved that layered botanical border so much that I decided one photo was all this page needed. Sometimes a scrapbook page calls for lots of photos, and sometimes the design deserves to frame one really special memory. I don’t know which photo will eventually live here—but it will definitely have to be a special one!
